The Monarch Organization was created in remembrance of my daughter,Piper Logan Dejlitko. Her love of life and pureness of heart will indefinitely guide us through our lives. This organization exists with the hope to create better lives for afflicted children because every kid deserves a childhood….

Piper tragically passed away in March of 2007 at five and a half years old. Her life was short, but she exemplified some of life’s important lessons: love unconditionally, take joy in everything you do, and take care of those you love. She was an amazing and vibrant little girl whose passion for life was both inspiring and incomparable.

Piper’s death prompted my husband, Greg, and I to create this organization with the hope to better the lives of children in any kind of need, be it illness, disability, poverty, or abuse. Every child deserves a chance to be a kid and pursue their passion in life.

Piper's enthusiasm for life and gracious ways will forever be carried in our hearts, and we hope that through this organization that her spirit will guide you as well.

Every year Monarch butterflies embark on a magnificent two thousand mile migration from Eastern Canada to Mexico. Their remarkable pursuit home is one of nature’s most spectacular phenomena's as well as the origin of a Native legend as dazzling as the migration itself. According to Legend, the arrival of the Monarch Butterflies is not only an inspiring sight to see, but it symbolizes the return of the children’s souls to their beloved ones.
